Overview
The Fulfillment Manager will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of a products to customers. The role involves coordinating with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams to maintain inventory, manage shipments, and ensure customer satisfaction while adhering to quality and safety standards
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire fulfilment process, from order placement to delivery.
- Ensure accurate order picking, packing, and dispatch while maintaining high service levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers, millers and vendors to ensure adequate stock availability and quality
- Onboarding new suppliers and millers who can provide good quality supplies as per company standards and expectations consistently
- Test the quality of rice samples, maintain quality reports and tracker and ensure quality of rice being packaged is as per company standards and customer expectations
- Work closely with logistics vendors to plan and optimize transportation schedule and routes and ensure timely dispatch of supplies.
- Monitor inventory levels and implement stock rotation practices to prevent spoilage and wastage.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards throughout the fulfilment process.
- Resolve operational issues, customer complaints, and delivery discrepancies promptly.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Train and guide internal and external fulfilment staff to maintain high performance and adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Generate reports on order processing, stock movement, and performance metrics.
- Maintain close working relationship with millers, suppliers and transporters. Visit all our partner mills and warehouses on a regular basis.
Requirements & Skills
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Graduate or preferable from education background from supply chain management, logistics
- Industry Experience: At least 4 years of experience in QA, procurement, logistics, and fulfillment operations in the rice industry.
Technical Expertise:
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in MS Office
- Analytical Skills: Self-learner and motivated. Should be ready to learn on the job
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in day-to-day work
Soft Skills:
- Process Excellence: Good market knowledge & interaction with Farmers.
- Entrepreneurial Mindset: Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
