Overview
As a Quality Executive, we seek individuals with a background in quality assurance to manage product quality, ensure compliance, and oversee logistics. The ideal candidate should hold a BSc in Agriculture or an MBA in Agriculture and be skilled in managing quality control processes.
Responsibilities
Quality Control and Compliance:
- Manage field selection and quality control during the loading of bananas.
- Conduct QC sampling during packing and pre-dispatch of goods.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain proper records.
Inventory and Process Management:
- Oversee storage of packaging materials and inventory, supporting distribution activities.
- Understand and manage the ripening process, including cold storage.
- Implement safe and hygienic practices at the field during banana packing.
Reporting and Improvement:
- Provide prompt and regular reporting and management information systems (MIS) updates.
- Coordinate and follow up on infrastructure and process improvements.
- Handle customer and internal audits, ensuring implementation of observations.
- Timely escalation of issues and consistent quality maintenance.
Requirements & Skills
- BSc in Agriculture, MBA (Agri), or Diploma in Agriculture.
- Experience in fresh produce is preferred.
- Must have a two-wheeler and a valid license.
- Willingness to travel and relocate.
- Ready to work in shifts as needed.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Self-learner, motivated, and ready to learn on the job.
- Good communication skills, fluent in Hindi and able to understand and speak English.
- Meticulous, well-organized, and able to manage parallel activities.
