Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Define and implement the overall strategy for the spices category.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development.
- Identify new business opportunities and target customer segments.
Supply Chain and Product Development:
- Oversee sourcing, product development, and supply chain operations.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and pricing for cost-effective sourcing.
Market Analysis and Growth:
- Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive activities.
- Develop pricing strategies and promotional plans to drive growth.
- Track performance metrics like sales growth, margin improvements, and market share.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team.
- Foster a collaborative, results-driven culture.
Requirements & Skills
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, Agriculture, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Industry Experience:
- At least 10 years in the spices or food industry.
Leadership Ability:
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
Market Knowledge:
- In-depth understanding of global spice markets and supply chains.
Travel Flexibility:
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
